The nurcery MAXI of the Studierendenwerk Erlangen-Nürnberg is located in the west of Nuremberg, directly at the underground station Maximilianstraße and is therefore very easy to reach by public transport
Our small family-run centre offers space for a maximum of 24 children aged 1 - 3 years. The premises are located on the ground floor of the Nuremberg MAXI student hall of residence at Maximilianstraße 54 in a quiet inner courtyard.
Children, parents and educational staff should feel at home in the crèche. A loving and respectful co-operation is the basis for this. TRUST is very important to us. We do not encourage children, but support them in making their own experiences and learning from them.
Children of students are given priority and are accepted on very favourable terms.

Team
A trusting team situation is the basis for pedagogically sound and professionally competent work. To ensure this, joint team meetings are held at regular intervals. This is where the weekly schedule, activities and celebrations are planned, parent meetings are prepared and upcoming appointments are discussed. The individual staff members have the opportunity to voice praise, criticism and suggestions in order to improve the pedagogical work.
Furthermore, continuous further education and training of the staff is important to us. All team members have the opportunity to regularly attend further training courses in addition to those required by law.
There is a regular and intensive exchange between the sponsor of the day care centers and the pedagogical staff. This guarantees rapid and situation-oriented action for the benefit of the children.
