Open Conunseling Hour for international Students

Getting to know a foreign language and a new culture is an exciting but also challenging experience for international students. To make your orientation and everyday life in Franconia easier, Studierendenwerk Erlangen-Nürnberg offers an open consultation hour especially for international students in presence - in English, of course.

When and where?

Time: Every Friday, 10:00-12:00

Location: Hofmannstr. 27, Room 201

No pre-registration is necessary! You can drop by and find out more about offers such as cultural and leisure activities, sports opportunities and other social events at your university location.

 

What can you expect?

  • Individual counselling on your concerns
  • Information on intercultural and social activities
  • Information about living in Germany and learning German
  • Initial support with topics such as finding accommodation, financing your studies and residence law
  • Referral to the psychological or social counselling centre if required


We want you to arrive well in Germany and feel at home here. The open consultation hours are open to all international students in our support area.
