Day café for students with children
The day café will reopen on 16 April 2026.
At our new daycare centre Maxi in Nuremberg, the Studierendenwerk Erlangen-Nürnberg runs (in cooperation with the FAU Family Service and the Evangelischen Hochschule Nürnberg) a day café for student mothers and fathers – and, of course, their children. In a fully equipped daycare centre, including a large playground, the little guests can let off steam while their parents enjoy coffee and snacks in a relaxed atmosphere and chat about coping with everyday student life with children.
In general, an educational specialist is on hand at the day café to offer parents advice and professional support. Alongside parenting questions, topics specifically related to student life are also addressed during the meetings. At regular intervals, we invite external experts and speakers who provide our guests with useful information and are available to answer their questions.
By the way: expectant mothers and fathers are also very welcome!
