"Dear students! I would like to introduce myself to you today so that you know who your contact person is in Nuremberg in the central canteen at Andreij-Sacharow-Platz. My name is Daniel Schmidt, born in 1960, I am married and have two sons. In 1985, I successfully passed my master chef's examination in Rothenburg o. d. Tauber. Before I took over the new refectory in Nuremberg in 1992, I worked as a civilian chef for the German Armed Forces in Nuremberg. Other stations in my training included the Ratsstuben restaurant in Nuremberg, Crest Hotel Nuremberg, Schloss Ratibor in Roth and the Raststätte in Feucht. I spend my free time with my family, fitness training and trout farming. I try to do my rounds in the dining room every lunchtime and be there for you. Therefore, my request to you: If you have any problems, please let me know so that we can follow your wishes as far as possible and make improvements. My team and I want you to enjoy going to your canteen and to remain satisfied guests."
